Fun with Words

It's fun playing with words! It also helps us increase our word power. There are a lot of games with English Words. Here, we introduce one of them.

ANAGRAMS
To find anagrams of words is fun and it helps a lot in learning new words with much enthusiasm.
An Anagram is a word which we can find by just rearranging the letters of another word. Thus we can make many words from one.

For example, we can make anagrams from TOP by rearranging the three letters : T, O, P.
Then we will get POT and OPT. These are the anagrams of TOP. TOP and OPT are the anagrams of POT. Similarly, TOP and POT are the anagrams of OPT. There many can be more than one anagram for many words!

Now, we can find the anagrams of the following words:

PASSED
GOD
STAR

Start finding the Anagrams of the words you go through while reading. You can make use of your leisure time for this. You can have a healthy and funny competition among friends or family members!!

'STARS OF THE WEEK' Launched

Every Thursdays, we select three students as STARS of the week. The selection is through lots. The selected STARS have to present their talents and creative works in front of the students during the subsequent week (Monday to Saturday). The creative works like poems, stories, essays, paintings and drawings, etc. will be exhibited on the three specially prepared star-boards fixed on the walls. The stars can sing, mimic or act in the class!
Based on the performance, the other students will select one as the 'BRIGHTER STAR'.
At the end of the academic year, we will select the 'BRIGHTEST STAR' of the year.
Each week's Brighter Star will be rewarded.

Our first STARS of the WEEK are: Badisha Banu. T.C, Adheeb. K and Rashid.
